Drita Ziri from Albania emerged victorious in the Miss Earth 2023 pageant on Friday which held at Van Phuc City in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This is Albania’s first-ever win at Miss Earth and also first ever victory in a major beauty pageant.
Additionally, Yllana Aduana from the Philippines was honored with the Miss Earth – Air title, Cora Bliault from Thailand was crowned Miss Earth – Fire, and Do Tho Lan Anh representing Vietnam was designated Miss Earth – Water, as outlined in the announcement.
Completing the top 8 were delegates from Russia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, and Netherlands. They were all named runner-ups. Sash factor countries like Indonesia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and South Africa only reached the Top 12.
The Miss Earth pageant, established in 2001, is highly esteemed, standing alongside Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Universe as one of the most prestigious beauty competitions. The winners of Miss Earth are known to be the busiest among beauty pageant winners as she spends her reign promoting the preservation of our environment through various events around the world.
This is the second time that Vietnam hosted Miss Earth and it was announced that the Southeast Asian country will also host the 2024 edition of this meaningful pageant.
