Mayor Lucille Bayron Calls on Consortium for Global Investors for Landmark Convention Center

Puerto Princesa City, Philippines – September 9, 2025 -   Determined to transform Puerto Princesa into a premier international destination, Mayor Lucille Bayron has urged the Palawan Synergy Corporation to actively draw foreign investors for a bold and transformative undertaking: a world-class convention center designed to host up to 30,000 delegates.

Touted as his defining legacy project, the envisioned convention center is set to elevate Puerto Princesa’s stature as a global hub for conferences, exhibitions, and cultural exchanges. “This project is more than infrastructure,” Mayor Bayron declared. “It is the gateway to positioning Puerto Princesa on the world stage while driving  economic opportunities for our people.”

In a recent strategic session, Mayor Bayron met with key partners, including Gary Llanes, partner and owners of 101 Cargo Solutions Logistics Co.; Christopher Iroy, country manager of Mylighting Corporation; and Richard Arambulo, president of Palawan Synergy Consortium.
