Salvador and Magdangal will perform the iconic songs of Moana and Maui live alongside the 78-member Filharmonika Orchestra, under the baton of Gerard Salonga, as the animated film plays in full on the big screen.

Salvador takes on the role of Moana, the courageous young wayfinder who ventures beyond the reef to restore the Heart of Te Fiti, while Magdangal performs as Maui, the mighty demigod who joins her on her journey across the ocean.
The concert will feature the film’s acclaimed score and soundtrack performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra and vocalists, with music by Grammy®-winning composer Mark Mancina, Emmy®, Grammy®, and Tony®-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Polynesian composer and performer Opetaia Foa‘i. Audiences will hear fan-favorite songs including “How Far I’ll Go,” “You’re Welcome,” and “We Know the Way”.
HOW FAR SHE’LL GO
For Janella Salvador, stepping into the role of Moana brings her back to a story and song that have already played a meaningful part in her musical career.

An award-winning Filipino actress and singer, Salvador has built a career spanning television, film, music, and most recently theatre. She first entered show business at 14 and rose to prominence through Be Careful With My Heart, before taking on leading roles in Oh My G!, Born For You, The Killer Bride, and Darna, as well as films including Haunted Mansion, Bloody Crayons, My Fairy Tail Love Story, So Connected, The Heiress, U-Turn, Open Endings, and Mallari.
Her connection to Moana began in 2016, when she recorded “How Far I’ll Go” for the Philippine release of the film. Now, a decade later, Salvador returns to the world of Moana in a new setting, performing Moana’s songs live alongside the film.
YOU’RE WELCOME, MAUI
Joining Salvador as Maui is Gian Magdangal, an award-winning Filipino singer, recording artist, actor, and one of the country’s celebrated musical theatre performers.

With a career spanning more than two decades across theatre, television, film, concerts, and international productions, Magdangal brings extensive stage and performance experience to the role of the mighty demigod. Magdangal previously performed at Hong Kong Disneyland in The Golden Mickeys and as part of the opening cast of Mickey and the Wondrous Book. In 2016, he became one of the principal singers of Universal Studios Japan’s Special Events Team. Most recently, in January 2026, he was invited by Hong Kong Disneyland to perform alongside Broadway and Disney legend Lea Salonga as her special guest during the park’s 20th Anniversary celebration concert.
For Magdangal, Moana Live-to-Film Concert also marks a personal milestone: “I’m so excited to be singing as the iconic character Maui in Disney’s Moana! Also, looking forward to be performing for the very first time in a film concert, something I’ve always wished to be part of! See you at the Theatre!”
