“It’s Showtime” Sexy Babe Grand Winner Sam Coloso definitely glowed in the inaugural Star Magic’s Hot Summer LaHot Sexy Bikini Ball held at The Island at The Palace in Taguig City last May 4.

Sam looked sexy in her golden cover-up, with matching bandana and gloves, golden zirconia stone earrings, gold pouch, and clear heels.

The event advocates body positivity as it promotes the tagline “Slay in any shape, any size, any age.” It reminds Sam of her version of sexiness at the time she was hailed the first “Showtime Sexy Babe” grand winner.

During the final question-and-answer portion of the popular noontime show, talent manager Annabelle Rama asked Sam: “Ano ang dapat matutunan ng henerasyon namin tungkol sa kaseskihan na sa palagay ninyo ay hindi pa namin alam?” (What should our generation learn about sexiness that you believe we still don’t know?)

Sam answered: “Siguro po ang dapat namatutunan ng inyong henerasyon sa ngayong image of beauty is there is no standard anymore we set our standards for ourselves. Noon, fi-no-follow natin ang mga dating beauty standards na kailangan nating magpaputi na kailangan natin magpaliit ng waist, but this time beauty is diverse and everyone is beautiful and accepted. Just be secure with yourself and that’s when you know na hindi mo kailangan tumingin sa kakulangan ng iba para maging secure ka sa sarili mo.”

Back then, we follow the old beauty standards that we had to smoothen our skin and be conscious of our figure. This time, beauty is diverse and everyone is beautiful and accepted. Just be secure with yourself, and that’s when you know that you don’t need to look at others to feel secure.)
