Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s New Song ‘Kaze Ni Noru’ Chosen as the Theme Song for Theatrical Anime L’étoile de Paris en fleur

Tokyo, Japan ーRyokuoushoku Shakai’s latest song Kaze Ni Noru has been selected as the theme song for the theatrical anime L’étoile de Paris en fleur, scheduled for release in Japan on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Directed by Gorō Taniguchi (One Piece Film: Red) with character designs by Katsuya Kondō (Ponyo, Kiki’s Delivery Service), the film tells the story of two young girls pursuing their dreams in early 20th-century Paris despite the challenges of living in a foreign land.

“Kaze Ni Noru” was written specifically for the film. Lyrics were penned by vocalist Haruko Nagaya, with composition and arrangement by the band’s bassist Shingo Anami. Inspired by the film’s early 20th-century setting, the song blends classical live instruments with a band ensemble, layered with Nagaya’s vocals combining transparency and strength.

Among Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s songbook, this number stands out as one of their most evergreen works — imbued with the courage to open the door to a new era.

In addition, the official main trailer for L’étoile de Paris en fleur, featuring a preview of “Kaze Ni Noru,” has been released — https://youtu.be/OWxJtDtwIdE.

Comment from Haruko Nagaya (Vocals)

Although the era of the film is different from what we know, the story is filled with music, art and many artistic elements. We also have a band member with ballet experience, so there were many aspects we could deeply relate to. I was truly happy to receive this offer.

In a world full of constraints, I wanted this song to become a trigger for people to take a new step forward. That feeling is what led me to write “Kaze Ni Noru.”

While the sources of our worries may change with time, at a fundamental level, people across all eras may be struggling with similar things. I hope listeners will connect the song to their own lives and personal challenges.

Comment from Shingo Anami (Bass)

As someone who has long been inspired by Director Gorō Taniguchi’s works such asCode Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, I felt a surge of excitement deep within when I received this offer.

Coincidentally, I grew up surrounded by classical ballet through my mother’s ballet studio, so I feel a very special connection to this project.

I sincerely hope that “Kaze Ni Noru” will become a bridge between the modern world we live in today and the early 20th-century Paris where Fujiko and the others lived.
