‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ Thanks Viewers for Strong TV Ratings and Online Viewership
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” expresses its gratitude to Filipinos who continue to watch Tanggol’s action-packed encounters after the series posted a strong 20.4% average in total Philippine household TV ratings covering both urban and rural from June 23 to 26, which was higher than its competitor that got 16.0%, according to data from Kantar Media.The Coco Martin-starrer, which remains the country’s most-watched teleserye, opened the week strongly with hard-hitting action scenes on June 23 as it recorded a national TV rating of 20.2% compared to its competitor that got 17.1%. More Filipinos continued to tune in the following day for the June 24 episode that featured the death of McCoy De Leon’s villain character as the series registered a national TV rating of 21.3% versus its competitor which got 16.2%. The series maintained its lead for the June 25 episode as it hit a national TV rating of 19.2% which was higher than its competitor that got 15.4%. In a recent interview, Coco promised to deliver non-stop adrenaline-pumping episodes and exciting plot twists as the show continues to hook Filipinos on a nightly basis.
