Atarayo invites listeners into a world of fleeting dreams and heartfelt emotion with their new mini album, “Utakata 泡沫の夢は幻に”. Expanding on fan-favourites “drop 雫”, “moon ship ツキノフネ”, and “I still love you忘愛”, the album adds five new tracks exploring the theme of dreams — each one a reflection of hope, heartbreak, and the courage to move forward.
The album kicks off with “Asanagi朝凪”, released as a pre-single on 17 September, an upbeat, electronic-tinged track that introduces a fresh side of Atarayo. Another standout, “Yumeutsutsu natsukazekaoru 夢現、夏風薫る”, is a self-cover of a 2023 track originally written by vocalist/guitarist Hitomi, now featuring guitarist Marcy on lead vocals, highlighting the band’s adventurous spirit and willingness to reimagine their sound.
Hitomi shares: “This album was created around the theme of ‘dreams.’ It’s full of lyrics that could only be written because we stumbled and got hurt along the way. I hope that everyone who listens to it feels they are not alone.”
With “Utakata 泡沫の夢は幻に”, Atarayo turns fleeting dreams into unforgettable moments — a mini-album that hits the heart, lifts the spirit, and reminds listeners that even the briefest dreams can leave a lasting mark.
